Today’s Lazy H offers the peaceful serenity and warm, friendly atmosphere of days gone by with accommodations more befitting the 21st century. Owned and operated by Jack and Sherri Hall of Valley Center and his daughters, Heather and Lauryl, the Lazy H staff has a passion for making people feel right at home on this beautiful property.

Our History

Lazy H Ranch Resort was built in the 1920’s as a working ranch and was converted to a destination resort in the late 1940’s Known at that time as the Lazy H Sky Ranch, the private membership resort was one of the county’s most popular gathering spots for celebrities who flew in on the resort’s landing field to enjoy the club house, pool, shuffleboard, a championship croquet court, paddle tennis and horseback riding.

Surrounding Area

The surrounding area is a year round back country paradise offering some of the country’s best bicycling, golf, fishing, hunting, and hiking. A short scenic drive will take you to the world famous Palomar Observatory with daily tours. Also within a 15 minute drive are the Pala Casino, Pauma Casino, Harris Rincon Casino and Valley View Casino featuring gambling and entertainment.
